Principal's Message:

Dear Trailblazer Families,

I hope your family is enjoying a wonderful summer! While our students are off making memories, our school is buzzing with excitement as we continue our Trailblazer Modernization Project.

Our building is getting a fresh new look! By the time students return, you'll notice freshly painted classrooms and hallways, upgraded stairwells, eight new intervention spaces designed to better support student learning, new digital clocks throughout the building, and a state-of-the-art intercom system to enhance communication and safety. The South Lobby is also receiving a special makeover with polished concrete flooring and a custom Trailblazer logo that will create a welcoming first impression for our students, staff, and visitors.

We're excited to share that all modernization work is expected to be completed by July 30, allowing us plenty of time to prepare for the start of another amazing school year.

A huge thank you goes to our incredible Trailblazer PTO for working on giving our staff lounge a complete makeover! Their generosity and hard work will transform the space into a welcoming retreat for our teachers and staff. We are so grateful for all they do to support our school community.

We can't wait to welcome your children back soon! In the meantime, be sure to check out the important updates and upcoming dates below.

Look no further! Click the link to find the school supply list for your child's grade level and get a head start on back-to-school shopping.

Need School Supplies?

We’re excited to share that we’ll once again be providing backpacks and school supplies for students in need this school year!

If your child could benefit from this support, please complete this form -one per student.

Supplies will be available for pick-up during our Meet & Greet/Grill N' Chill on Monday, August 10th from 1:00–4:00 PM.

Have a rising Kindergartner?

As we prepare to welcome our newest Trailblazers, please remember that all rising kindergarten students must have a current kindergarten physical and updated immunization records on file before the first day of school.

✅ Kindergarten Physical:

Your child's physical must be dated between August 13, 2025, and August 12, 2026 (within one year of the first day of school).

📌 Please note: We cannot allow students to begin school on the first day until we have received a valid physical and updated vaccination records.

If you have not already done so, please submit these documents to the school as soon as possible.

Re-Registration is open!

It is now time to re-register your student for the 2026-27 school year. You can update your bus requests, phone numbers, and more to get ready for next year.

The re-registration form is open in SchoolMint for all returning resident students and all approved non-resident students.

Using your SchoolMint account from last year, please access the program and begin the process by using the following Quick Instructions. If you have questions or issues in accessing SchoolMint, please contact your school for further assistance.

Quick Instructions

Re-register each of your returning students (once per child) by following these steps.

Log in to SchoolMint and verify you are in the 2026-2027 year (found in the upper right). Note: SchoolMint features a password reset feature if you need it.
Find the appropriate student card, and click the Add Forms button. [Approved non-resident families will click the + button].
The Student Information screen will appear where you will need to confirm basic student information along with your current physical address and district of residence. [Approved non-resident families will not see this step since it was completed in the application process.] Click the Save and Continue button
On the next screen, click the down arrow next to the option of Re-Register at Your Current School, then click the blue, Re-Register button to continue.

We're excited to officially welcome Cicely Shelton as Trailblazer Elementary's new Assistant Principal! Ms. Shelton is a familiar face to many in our community, having previously served as our Media Specialist. Her passion for students, strong relationships with families, and dedication to our school make her a wonderful addition to our administrative team.
